Fly through Security with Peter Greenberg on Senior Transportation

What is the biggest pain about traveling to a destination far away? Traveling to a destination far away! The actual transportation causes most seniors more stress than the actual organization of the trip itself. One of the most stressful forms of senior transportation is the airport.

Travel expert Peter Greenberg shares with us some of the best ways for senior transportation to be as painless as possible at the airport. The struggle of getting through the security line can be the source of limitless stress as well as tension between travelers, and here are some pointers to help senior transportation be as painless as possible:

  • Make sure you bypass wearing any belts or shoes/pants with large buttons or metal straps
  • Put keys, change and cell phone in your carry-on bag before you even get into the security line
  • Most airports now have separate lines for families or people with disabilities. Keep an eye open for these lines if you have trouble walking or have another disability that will hold up the line and make people behind you upset
  • When choosing a line, stay away from the security check points with two guards. This means one of them is training and every bag will be stopped

Senior transportation can be an enjoyable experience if you know how to deal with the most stressful parts of travel.
